Recommended Postpartum Resources in Los Angeles
Navigating the early weeks with a newborn can feel overwhelming, and having the right support around you can make a meaningful difference.
As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) based in Pasadena and serving families throughout Los Angeles, I often work closely with other trusted professionals who support families during pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and early infant care.
Below is a curated list of recommended postpartum resources in Los Angeles, including providers I trust and collaborate with to support families in a thoughtful, evidence-based, and compassionate way.
Common Reasons Families Seek Additional Support
Many of the families I work with are looking for support beyond breastfeeding, especially when navigating the early postpartum period and newborn care.
This may include:
• Newborn bodywork to support tension, feeding comfort, and latch
• Oral function assessment and frenectomy care for feeding challenges
• Postpartum recovery and emotional support for mothers
• Infant sleep support and nervous system regulation in the early weeks
• Gentle movement and developmental support for babies
Many of these areas are closely connected to feeding, and challenges like a gassy baby, difficulty latching, or unsettled feeding can sometimes benefit from a collaborative approach. Having a collaborative care team can make breastfeeding, recovery, and the early postpartum experience feel more supported, connected, and sustainable.

I offer day support (4 hr. minimum) and night support (maximum 4 nights per week, 8 hour minimum) within the first 12 weeks of life.
For families wanting more than 4 nights a week, I am happy to provide names and contact details of other doulas with whom I work closely, so we can build a team to meet your needs.
Each week looks different as your baby grows. The first few weeks are mainly centered around feeding, postpartum care, processing your birth and the nuances that arise when becoming a parent either for the first time or subsequent times. Once you have found some footing in your new roles as parents, we start to develop a rhythm and tailor our time together around your needs. My main objective is to work myself out of a job. I believe that a self-confident, well supported parent leads to raising a self-confident well-respected child.
